From this moment, the victim in road accident will be able to choose the form of compensation money or to repair your car. The second option is available only if the insurance company has a valid contract with service station.
In addition, the amendments provide for mandatory pre-trial settlement of disputes – now will enable you to sue the insurance company only upon the submission of a claim to the insurer and receipt within 5 days for an answer from him. The term of payment of monetary compensation or repair can now exceed 20 calendar days (excluding weekends and holidays), instead of the 30 previously installed.
In addition, from 01 September to conclude a contract CTP in any branch of the insurance company. Illegal refusal in registration of CTP, or the imposition of additional services is punishable by a fine in the amount of 50 000 rubles.
Some amendments to the law on CTP has already entered into force on 02 August. In particular, increased maximum amount of payments under the "European accident report" (design of an accident without calling the traffic police).
From 01 of October for the second wave of changes: will increase the maximum amount of payments on CTP policies from 120 thousand rubles to 400 thousand rubles, the limit of "Euro Protocol" for residents of the Moscow region, Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region will increase to 400 thousand rubles. Will decrease the marginal rate of depreciation from 80% to 50%, the insurer would remain obligated to reimburse at least half the cost of the damaged parts.
