25 of April. Time magazine published the list of hundred most influential people in the world. Vladimir Putin was the only Russian citizen who has entered into this list. Recall that last year, the only Russian in this rating was Igor Sechin (head of Rosneft).
This rating was also Barack Obama (US President), Janet Yellen (Federal reserve system USA), Hillary Clinton (former U.S. Secretary of state), Miley Cyrus and Beyonce (pop star), Jeff Bezos (head of Amazon), Pope Francis.
The title "man of the year"
In December 2013 the newspaper Tetminal Vladimir Putin "Person of the year". The newspaper noted that in 2013 the Russian President scored great achievements. Among them, the Times described the actions against Ukraine, Russia's position on Syria. the Newspaper stressed that Vladimir Putin has returned Russia to its former strength.
In October 2013, Forbes magazine put Putin on the first place in its ranking of most influential people. Second place was given to Barack Obama (President of USA). Third place – XI Jinping (President of China).
The President of Russia have already appeared in Forbes in 2011 and 2012. In 2011, Vladimir Putin took the second place, in 2012 he lost second place to Angela Merkel (Chancellor of Germany).
The opinion of Russians about the President
All-Russian center for public opinion research (VTSIOM) in late March released results of a poll showing that the approval rating of Russian President became equal to 82.3 per cent.
Sociologists have noted that this high level of approval of activity of the President is fixed, including, and in connection with the entry of Crimea and Sevastopol into the Russian Federation.
