26 September. The Prosecutor General's Office of Russia published a document in which the most criminal regions of Russia are named. The first place in the list was occupied by Moscow.
In the first half of the year, in Moscow, despite a general decline in crime rates, 71 961 crimes were registered.
The second place was occupied by the Moscow region, where 43 668 crimes were recorded.
In third place was the Krasnodar Territory, the fourth - the Chelyabinsk region, the fifth place - the Republic of Bashkortostan.
In the top 10 most criminal regions of Russia also included: Tyumen, Sverdlovsk, Rostov and Kemerovo regions, as well as the Republic of Tatarstan.
In total for half a year in the country it is fixed according to the State Office of Public Prosecutor 1 030 193 crimes. That is almost 13% less than the same period last year.
