29 of April. At the extraordinary elections of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev scored 97.75% of the votes. On 26 of April, a solemn ceremony of taking the oath in the Palace of independence Kazakh capital.
Newly elected President swore on the Constitution to "faithfully serve the people of Kazakhstan, guarantee the rights and freedoms of citizens, to abide by the Constitution and the laws faithfully perform duties of the President."
Extraordinary elections in Kazakhstan, there was record turnout – 95,22%. For the elected leader voted 8 million 833 thousand voters.
According to Nursultan Nazarbayev, the election will go down in history as the most massive. "We showed everyone the power of unity and solidarity of the people. Elections will go down in history as the most massive", he said.
The President noted that for the first time the swearing in takes place on the eve of a bright and kind holiday – Day of Unity of peoples.
Five forces that threaten the development of Kazakhstan
Nursultan Nazarbayev said that the future development of Kazakhstan threatens five "external call".
"First of all, it is a crisis of global order, the continued turbulence of the global economy. The third challenge – climate change. Fourth, according to the President of Kazakhstan – new world line faults, which will affect Central Asia, which will be a challenge for the entire region. The fifth challenge is the instability of the world economy and the crisis of the world order".
Nursultan Nazarbayev promised to soon present a Plan to the Nation, including 100 concrete steps for further development of the state. He explained that the Plan of the Nation is 5 of the constitutional reforms in the sphere of Economics, public administration, social harmony, are included in his electoral platform.
With regard to relations with the countries of the Eurasian economic Union with these countries, according to the newly elected President, Kazakhstan will bind the special relationship. "A special relationship will bind us with our closest partners – Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Armenia", - said Nursultan Nazarbayev.
