20-year-old Manushi Chillar - a student, is studying medicine. The girl was born in the northern state of Haryana. He speaks Hindi and English, is engaged in classical Indian dances.
The second place in the beauty contest was taken by Andrea Meze (Mexico), the third - by Stephanie Hill (Great Britain).
"Miss Russia-2017", Polina Popova (Ekaterinburg) entered the top ten finalists, but could not get into the top five. Representatives of India, Mexico, Great Britain, Kenya and France attended the 13th stage of the competition (15 stages in total).
Each of the applicants for the crown of "Miss World" had to prove its contribution to charity. Polina Popova visited Lake Baikal and spoke in defense of the Baikal seal, suggesting that it be included in the Red Book.
Recall that the contest "Miss World" is held since 1951. Since 2015, the organizers of the competition have refused to attend the defile of the participants in swimsuits, focusing on their personal qualities.
Russians won in this contest twice. In 1992, the crown was won by Julia Kurochkina, in 2008 - by Ksenia Sukhinova. In 2016, the crown of "Miss World" received Stephanie Del Valle from Puerto Rico.
