15 of May. The people's militia of Donbass gave Kiev 24 hours to the withdrawal of troops and a complete cessation of military operations. This was reported by Sergey Zdriliuk (Deputy commander of the militia).
"If Kiev does not remove your posts, not repel armored vehicles, I have enough means and forces in order to destroy it all and burn".
The militia statement was published simultaneously with the start of the fighting near Kramatorsk. The channel "Huge TV" reported that a battle took place in 30 km from Kramatorsk. Security forces used armored vehicles and aircraft.
May 14, Lugansk regional Council has considered the question of transfer of power to the people, but for this decision, the deputies lacked quorum. The militia has addressed to deputies of Lugansk regional Council to recognize the results of referendum held on may 11, following which the majority of voters voted for independence of the region. Anti-government activists warned of the Luhansk regional Council that if their demand was not fulfilled until 15:00 15.05.2014 regional Council will be considered illegitimate.
The press service of the Luhansk regional Council issued a request to Parliament to approve the Federal system, and state status of the Russian language or to dissolve the regional Council.
