16 of October. Yesterday in Moscow hosted a conference of the Association "Union of refugees in Ukraine". The forum brought together internally displaced persons from different regions of Russia. Among the main objectives of the Union – cooperation with authorities and solution of problems of refugees. And problems the refugees a lot, because most have left everything at home that I had.
In the management of the organization includes:
- Chairman of the Parliament of Novorossia, co-Chairman of the "Popular front of new Russia" Oleg Tsarev;
- head of representation DND in Russia Andrey Rodkin.
Oleg Tsarev in his address noted that according to the Russian border service of Ukraine to Russia since the end of last year came to approximately 4.3 million, returned only 3 million, there are more than one million Ukrainians are now in Russia, mainly refugees from the South-East.
According to Tsarev, the authorities and the people of Russia "doing a lot" for refugees from Ukraine. "About a thousand temporary shelters were opened in Russia, is about 40-60 thousand refugees. All other refugees were housed with relatives, friends, acquaintances. It should be noted that the Russian people accomplished a feat of mercy. We will not forget" - said Oleg Tsarev.
On the forum it was noted that the management organization will be based in Moscow – it will help to establish effective communication with local authorities. The Charter of this organization is still in development. Its development will deal with the coordination Council, elected at the conference.
Oleg Tsarev noted that the Union will provide assistance to refugees, internally displaced persons, to help people to return home and solve the problems among refugees in Russia. He also noted that in each region you have already created a fee to assist refugees.
It is planned to hold meetings of the Union regularly.
The emblem of the Union was swallow and St. George ribbon. The choice of the emblem is not accidental, because the swallow is the bird that always comes home. And St. George ribbon - the symbol of victory (which will be in the future) and courage.
