21 of July. Earthquake in the Kuril Islands has occurred with magnitude of 6.6. The U.S. geological survey reported that the earthquake occurred in the North-West of Kuril Islands. The epicenter was recorded in 94 km South-East of Kurilsk. The depth of the hearth is 60 km away.
All residents of Yuzhno-Kurilsk, Kurilsk and all villages on the Islands of Kunashir, Shikotan and Iturup have felt earthquake dvadtsatisemiletny it. Data about victims and destructions while aren't present. Operational service inspected the building for possible damage.
