From 1 of July 2015 will come into effect the amendments to the Rules of the road. Now motorists involved in an accident and hinder the passage, will be fined one thousand roubles.
In most cases drivers will be required to vacate the roadway after an accident if cars impede passage of other vehicles. If the accident killed or injured people, the driver is obliged to release the roadway, if the movement of other vehicles is impossible. If victims are not present, we clear a path necessary in any case. To understand who is to blame in a traffic accident, if the agreement is not have already on the sidelines.
Previously, the results of the accident must be locked by means of photo - and videofiksatsii. Fixed the position of vehicles in relation to each other and to other objects of road infrastructure, items and traces related to the accident, damage to vehicles. You also need to record information from witnesses. After that, call the police. Follow the directions of a police officer.
In case of disagreements between participants of road accident are not available, report to the police is not necessary. In this case:
- side incidents can secure all the circumstances of the accident to leave the scene and file documents with the participation of authorized police officers on the nearest post of traffic police or in the police unit;
- to legalise papers about road accident without participation of authorized persons by completing the form of notice of accident in accordance with the rules of compulsory insurance (evroprotokol);
- not to execute documents, if the parties to the accident don't need it.
Important!
If in road accident people have suffered, we should act according to the old algorithm (see section 2.5 of the SDA):
- immediately stop the car, switch a warning flasher on, and put a breakdown triangle;
- to take measures to provide first aid, call an ambulance and the police;
- in case of emergency – send the victim to hospital on passing transport, but if it's impossible to get him on the transport to a medical facility and return to the scene;
- to release the roadway, if the movement of other vehicles is impossible, the pre-fixing, including by means of photo and video fixation, the position of vehicles in relation to each other and to road infrastructure, items and traces relevant to the incident, to take measures to preserve these traces and objects, to arrange a detour;
- record data of eyewitnesses and to expect arrival of the police.
