Yesterday in the Central house of attorneys in Moscow hosted the opening of the Center for training, testing, and legal assistance to migrants who arrived in Russia from abroad in search of work or in hopes to obtain Russian citizenship. This Center was created by the Russian Academy of advocacy and notaries (RAAN) and the Guild of Russian lawyers.
The rector of the RAAN, President of the Guild of lawyers, doctor of law Gasan Mirzoev, the opening of the Center, stressed that this decision was made based on the current situation and migration policy of the state. Russia is becoming more attractive to migrants, not only from neighboring countries. The flow of migrants is increasing as not all of them are able to understand the procedure and conditions of stay in Russia. Therefore, newcomers are important practical assistance, particularly legal assistance.
According to the Director of the Center's Storchevoy, it will be training, testing on the Russian language, Russian history and fundamentals of legislation of the Russian Federation. After passing the test applicants who passed the exam will receive a certificate which will specify the basic level of Russian language proficiency. Certification is made by the Russian University of friendship of peoples.
Assistance to migrants is really in demand. Head of Department FMS of Russia across Moscow Tatyana Dmitriyeva said that currently, the flow of migrants has stabilized after a sharp rise in 2014. This was due to the legislative abolition of quotas on attraction of labour force and the improvement of the system of patents. Those who worked informally, had to "come out of the shadows".
According to lawyers at the present time there has been a desire of migrants to be legalized. It is noticeable, including growth of applications of aliens for legal assistance. Until that time, the lawyers were predominantly employers. And now increasingly the visitors. After all, the man who came to Russia and wants to work honestly and to earn enough to obtain a patent.
Received and what to do next? Not everyone knows that you need to sign a contract with the employer and to notify the migration service. This obligation lies with the employer. The contract itself must be "clean" from a legal point of view, that is not contain hidden pitfalls, do not infringe the rights of a foreign citizen. Whether a migrant yourself to evaluate it?
