25 July 2015 will be held the draw for the qualifying matches of world football championship 2018. Draw will take place in St. Petersburg. The mascot of the tournament will be presented in 2016.

The FIFA world Cup 2018 will be held at 12 stadiums in 11 Russian cities: in St.-Petersburg, Kazan, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Sochi, Saransk, Volgograd, Kaliningrad, Ekaterinburg, Rostov-on-don and Samara.
