"The investigation, which is in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation shall be conducted by law enforcement bodies and special services, will be continued", - said Peskov.
On 12 March MEPs adopted a resolution which calls upon the Russian authorities to conduct an international investigation into the killings. However, Dmitry Peskov, said Russia will conduct its own investigation. Sands also expressed the hope that "in the near future prosecutors will announce their version of the murder."
March 8, 5 defendants in the case about the murder of Boris Nemtsov were arrested Basmanny court of Moscow. According to the decision of the Basmanny court, Shadid and Anzor Gubashev, Bakhaev, Khamzat, Timur Eskerkhanov and Zaur Dadaev until April 28, will be detained.
