20 of July 20. Last week the hole was accidentally discovered by workers of one of the gas fields from a helicopter. Now scientists have to determine the nature of its appearance. The Internet is filled with various versions of its origin, ranging from the fantastic to more or less plausible.
One of the most fantastic theories about the origin of the crater is alien intervention. In order to accurately determine the cause of the "Yamal black hole", you need to take soil samples. This, at first, was impossible, since the edges of the "hole" is constantly showered.
Nominated version of the fall of the meteorite – this version was rejected, as such a powerful blow could not remain unnoticed. The version of the karst failure was also rejected due to the presence of emissions of the soil around the crater. More real version was put forward by the Executive Director Subarctic scientific training ground, Anna Kurchatova, she suggested that there was a strong underground explosion, which did this "hole".
However, Internet users prefer to believe in a more unusual versions. The very first video that hit the Internet was watched by more than 2.5 million people from all over the world. Some left comments. One of the comments was: "It's the Russians testing a new weapon of mass destruction", another "the funnel indicates the existence of aliens."
The first expedition was carried out almost immediately after it became known about the "black hole". However, the first special expedition brought no results, so how to approach funnel at close distance was not possible. The second expedition was made the other day.
