07 of April. At night, the protesters occupied the building of regional Department of the SBU (security Service of Ukraine).
The Ukrainian newspaper "Vesti" reports that at 3:32 a.m. local time Donbass protesters seized the SBU in Donetsk region. This whole operation took less than 15 minutes. All activities were well coordinated and organized. At the moment protesters are fortifying their positions to repel a possible assault.
What is happening in Lugansk and Donetsk
April 6 on the streets of Donetsk came out about 2 thousand people. In the hands of the protesters was carrying the Russian tricolor. Procession chanted "Donbass! Russia!". The protesters demanded the immediate organization of a referendum on the status of Donetsk region.
Protesters seized the building of regional state administration. Then, in Lugansk, protesters seized the building of SBU. Eyewitnesses reported that during the assault were injured as the law enforcers and the demonstrators.

Also in Lugansk held a motor rally in support of referendum on federalization of Ukraine. 30 motorists with flags of Ukraine and Russia began their rally with the Fairgrounds and marched through the streets of the regional center. Organized the event the public organization "Russian unity", "national liberation movement" and "Lugansk guard".
We will remind that Alexander Kharitonov was detained on March 14 by employees of SBU. He is suspected of attempting to overthrow the constitutional order.
Oleksandr Turchynov – acting President of Ukraine expressed concern about the events in Luhansk and Donetsk regions. On this occasion, he convened an emergency meeting of ministries and agencies and took the situation under his personal control. Also Turchynov has cancelled his working visit to Lithuania, where he planned to participate in the conference of heads of parliaments of the countries in the EU.
What is happening in Kharkov
06 April in Kharkov held a rally in support of federalization of Ukraine. Organized these actions of the public movement "South-East" and "Ukrainian Eastern block". The protesters were carrying flags of Ukraine, Russia and the Communist party of Ukraine.
People chanted slogans: "the Union of fraternal peoples!", "Berkut" defended the Ukraine from the Nazis", etc. the Protesters demanded an immediate referendum on status of Eastern regions of Ukraine. They also demanded to give Russian language the status of state.
