In the near future in Russia there will be Internet service - similar to Carfax, which showed itself in America.
Now the Russian equivalent is in the testing phase. This service will in future by ID number of the vehicle to obtain the most current information about its status, namely about the number of car owners, accidents, mileage, damage, and more. Thus, those wishing to buy the car will be able to learn a lot of useful information before making your purchase. The launch of this project in Moscow has been planned for April-may 2014.
Initially to operate this service will be separately and possibly in the future, will be integrated with the Moscow portal of public services. However, current legislation prohibits the disclosure of information, including on vehicles, because it may harm the interests of their owners. Therefore, the organizers of this project while looking for opportunities to provide the planned services, without violating the law.
We will remind that on 4 February 2014 on the official website of the traffic police earned online service the Federal level to check for restrictions and prohibitions on registration activities with the vehicle. In order to use this service, simply enter the VIN of the vehicle or the chassis or bodywork. However, this is only part of all services, which are planned to start on a new project.
