To perform this work will be selected by the contractors during the bidding. Such an amendment to the law adopted by the deputies of the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol.

As of 11 of November in Chernorechensky reservoir supply of water remained in the amount of 8.7 million m3. Of these, 7 million m3 reserve remaining 1.7 million Sevastopol will last about 16 days.

Part of the allocated funds already spent on the replacement of water mains, and the disinfection with liquid chlorine to sodium hypochlorite. The bulk of the funds spent on water savings in the reservoir to last until the spring floods.

Additional sources of water give Sevastopol about 40% of the total required amount of water. Already running repaired hole Orlovsky intake that gives the city an additional water inflow in the amount of 20 thousand m3 per day. Another 15 thousand m3 gives the city Gasparticle reservoir. About 8-10 m3 per day comes from the Intermountain reservoir. In addition, shortly Sevastopol will receive 2.3 million m3 of Vilinska intake.

From 1 of November all sleeping areas of Sevastopol receive water exclusively according to the schedule, 10 hours a day. These measures according to the calculations of housing and communal services, will save up to 15 thousand m3, i.e. about 12% of daily consumption.

At present exploration of water in Gagarinsky district, however, even if these activities are successful, the water gets to the treatment plant until March 2015.

Losses in the water supply system still would not be settled, because the solution isn't in the budget. Losses occur due to unauthorized access and deterioration of the pipes.

Andrei Tamancev reported that the majority of pipes (about 70%) have 100% depreciation, you need to completely replace, repair they are not subject to the monitoring and identifies the areas where unauthorised losses.
