May 29. Gasoline at a cost cheaper than 39 rubles per liter can be bought in 5 of 85 regions of Russia, namely:
- ingush republic;
- Republic Of Chechnya;
- Altai territory;
- Kaluga region;
- Chelyabinsk region.
In the Chelyabinsk region the cheapest gasoline in the country-35,25 rubles.per liter. At the same time, on average, a liter of gasoline costs 41.28 rubles, while the growth rate of gasoline prices is 2-3 times higher than inflation.
Such conclusions can be drawn from the data provided by the analytical service "FinExpertiza", which analyzed the data of Rosstat on the total inflation in the country and the growth rate of the cost of gasoline in the regional context. The analysis included data for the period from January 9 to may 14.
The highest cost of gasoline is observed in:
- Republic of Yakutia (50,48 rubles per liter);
- Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (50,02 rubles per liter).
In the TOP 10, according to the tradition also includes the Magadan region, Kamchatka, Sakhalin oblast, Sevastopol, and Kabardino-Balkaria, Kaliningrad region, Moscow and the Crimea (from 43,71 up to 48.63 RUB. per liter).
In the Crimea, the authorities have long been sounding the alarm about high prices, as mentioned by the Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS). The head of the FAS Igor Artemyev noted that, despite the costs of companies to transport fuel to the Peninsula, gasoline there should cost a few rubles less. FAS won all the courts against oil traders in the Crimea, the court ordered the company to pay a fine of about 100 million rubles.
Rise in prices
Most of all since the beginning of the year, gasoline prices have increased in the Crimea-by 3.16 rubles, - this is stated in the study by the analytical service "FinExpertiza", in 13 regions of the country the price increased by 2 or more rubles. However, there are regions where prices have decreased:
- Transbaikalian and Kamchatka Krai (RUB 1.21);
- Sakhalin region (0.79 rubles.);
- Amur region (0,49 rubles).
However, despite the presence of such regions, in the whole country the dynamics is positive-prices rose by 1.68 rubles.
In 5 regions of the country in mid-may, the growth rate of gasoline prices were comparable with the level of regional inflation:
- Primorsky Krai;
- Republic Of Yakutia;
- Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous district;
- Chukotka;
- Saratov region.
In most regions, fuel price increases were significantly higher than the overall inflation rate. Price stability is observed only in the Jewish Autonomous region – fuel prices in this region have not changed. In the Nenets Autonomous region, where inflation is 0.33%, fuel prices rose by 1.44%. In other regions of Russia, the growth of fuel prices exceeds the total inflation by 1.16-8.39 times.
To reduce the growth rate of fuel prices, the government decided to reduce fuel excise rates from July 1. This will slow down the growth of prices at gas stations.
