23 of August. Since September 1 tariffs for the evacuation of cars will change. Henceforth, they will not depend on the engine capacity of the car.
The regions will have to recalculate the tariffs in accordance with order of the Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) "On approval of methodical instructions by calculation of tariffs for handling and storage of the detained vehicles and the timing of payment.
This order was adopted pursuant to amendments to the Code of administrative offences that will enter into force on 1 September and on which the tariffs for the evacuation of cars in the regions should be calculated based on uniform methodology.
Currently, each region has its own method of calculation, and the price of the evacuation of cars is considerably different. For example. In Moscow the cost of evacuation depends on the capacity of the engine and ranges from 3 to 7 thousand rubles. In St.-Petersburg the tariff for evacuation depends on the type of vehicle and ranges from 2.7 thousand roubles, in Moscow region – from the weight and category of the car and varies from 4,5 thousand roubles, informs "the Russian newspaper".
According to experts of "Rossiyskaya Gazeta", the order of the FAS sends a clear message that the evacuation is a provisional measure and not a commercial service, so companies that do this should not make a profit.
Therefore, from 1 September 2016 is expected to lower prices for the evacuation, and in Moscow and other regions, the rates will no longer be tied to the properties of the vehicle.
