Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted on his Twitter account:
"Nettie, you have brought great respect to Israel!! Next year in Jerusalem!".
Recall that in the final of "Eurovision-2018" won Israeli singer Netta barzilay. Accordingly, based on the rules of the song contest, the next "Eurovision" will be held in the winning country. The choice of the city of the competition remains at the discretion of the authorities.
However, in the case of Jerusalem, difficulties may arise because of its unresolved status-Jerusalem, along with Israel, considers the Palestinian state to be its capital. This position of the city imposes a number of restrictions on the conduct of international events.
By the way, Netti barzilay (winner of the Eurovision song contest-2018) broke the main trophy of the contest. After handing crystal microphone, Netti accidentally broke the award.
